点评：I had a fantastic experience with Rural Adventure. I was in Filandia for 3 days, and I booked the tour for Birdwatching in the Barbas Bremen Reserve near Filandia, Colombia. I booked the day before my Target tour date, and they were still able to accommodate me. I was so excited for this birdwatching tour. Rural Adventures was very responsive, got a quick response on their WhatsApp right away with my questions. At first it was an AI chatbot, but not long was I talking to a real person.
They gave me specific instructions like where to meet. Right in front of the Iglesia I’m the Filandia town square at 6am in the morning. They shared with me my tour guide name. My tour guides name was Mateo. And he was a very enthusiastic guide well knowledgeable on the area and birds.
On our tour,, we saw a Barred Antshrike, we saw the nest of a Wren. And also saw the nest of an Acorn Woodpecker in a hole of a dead tree about 40 feet from the floor.
We went to top of hill, then down the hill where we saw a baby Blue-headed Parrot! It was perched on banana tree branch. Mateo snapped a photo of it.
We then went down into the green brush of the valley crossing a river. He was knowledgeable about the fruits and the native plants as well. Guayana tree on the trail, and we picked some and ate some..
All in all, it was a fantastic trail and experience seeing the different levels of the topography and environments where birds live.
