A dream African safari experience with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions

点评：Our group of 11 (family/close friends) just returned from an 8 day luxury migration safari organized by Tanzania Roadside Expeditions and we are ecstatic! We accomplished everything that we had hoped to do and then some!
Pre-trip: I worked with Zephania Abduel to curate an itinerary tailored to our expectations. This was a trip 2 years in the making and Zephania was with us all the way, patiently answering all our questions (no matter the time of the day!) and putting together a fabulous itinerary for us, carefully incorporating our priorities. Zephania was also super helpful with getting us information and recommendations on some side trips we did (Zanzibar). We travel extensively and I have worked with several tour operators; Zephania is definitely a cut above the rest.
The package was all inclusive, with no surprises, which helped us budget appropriately as well.
The trip: From the time we were picked up at the airport, the care and attention we received from Zephania and his team was exceptional. We had 2 trucks to accommodate our group of 11. Our guides, Ezekiel Lobaya (Masaai) and Steven Hariah were superb - their knowledge of all things flora and fauna & the parks' topography in general, calm & positive attitudes, professionalism, superb driving skills and a tremendous respect for the wild life, made this an extraordinary experience for all of us. We had 7 full days in the parks and both Ezekiel and Steven went all out to ensure we not only saw every animal on our wish list, but also many that we didn't even know about. On many days, we started early with full days on the safari run, increasing our chances of seeing more and more animals. We also saw how responsible Ezekiel and Steven were regarding the wildlife in general. Anyone doing similar trips would be lucky to get Ezekiel and Steven as their guides!
The lodges: Of all the lodges where we stayed, the staff, service, and location of Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge stood out. I commend Agnes and her team for the way they run the place and thank them for taking such good care of us. Generally, all the other lodges that were a part of our stay were also good and the staff fantastic. Food was abundant and all packed lunches had more than enough to satisfy even the pickiest of us.
Tanzania culture and traditions: The trip had several elements of culture mixed in, including a visit to a Masai village and daily discussions with Ezekiel and Steve on the people and culture of Tanzania. The Tanzanian people are some of the nicest you'll meet and we take away wonderful memories.
Overall, a superb trip that will forever stay at the top of our dream list and it's all thanks to Tanzania Roadside Expeditions, Zephania and his whole team! Don't think for a minute before you hire this team to give you an exceptional safari experience!
