The Scottish Crannog Centre的点评
点评：If you fancy a day wandering around an Iron Age village this is the place for you. Myself and my adult son visited and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I can see that this is a great day out for families with kids but honestly it's suitable for all ages . The staff are very knowledgeable and share their knowledge with great enthusiasm. It was so much more than I was expecting with the opportunity to sample Iron Age style food and see how they made things, forged tools, and produced textiles. Somehow I had managed to miss the information that the Crannog had burned down a few years ago and it's replacement won't be finished until May (if all goes to plan) but this did not in anyway impinge our enjoyment as there was plenty to see and do in the rest of the Iron Age village.. We will be back and I will be recommending the Crannog Centre to anyone visiting Scotland in the future.
The admission fee was very fair given what they are recreating and their commitment to being as authentic as they can in this modern era and their use and promotion of traditional skills and crafts.
