Absolutely stellar and impactful tea tour with Huyen in Thai Nguyen.

点评：I travelled to Thai Nguyen to research tea production processes and capture the personal stories and relationships to tea from local tea farmers and entrepreneurs.
Huyen did a gorgeous job at planning the itinerary to include the broadest range of perspective, from large tea cooperatives, to medium sized tea entrepreneurs, tea masters, and lastly, spending an afternoon picking tea leaves with tea farmers, and understanding their lives and working conditions.
Over two whole days, we covered the Thai Nguyen region and La Bang. As a result, I'm so much more knowledgeable about the different harvesting, drying, oxidization and fermentation techniques that draw, from the same original tea tree...an almost infinite variety of tea products like Green Tea, Oolong, and Matcha.
I believe passions don't just happen to you, they are a result of what you choose to direct your curiosity toward. I developed a true passion for tea in these two, incredibly meaningful days, and feel so inspired to continue developing myself personally and professionally in the world of tea.
Huyen is an incredibly kind and attentive tour guide, with lived experience in tea production. I could recommend no better person to take you through the incredible tea landscape of North Vietnam.
