In the top 5 Temples in Ayutthaya
崖差蒙空寺的点评
点评：This is one of my preferred temples in Ayutthaya. I've been there in 2004, 2008 and this last December in 2025.
It is not as impressive as Wat Chaiwatthanaram of course, you can't beat his one, but it can certainly be listed in the top 5, or even perhaps in the top 3 (with Wat Phra Si Sanphet).
I saw few visitors when I visited it, unlike Wat Mahatat with its Budha face inside in a tree, like in Ta Prom in Cambodia (which is actually the only really interesting sight in this temple).
I believe that it would be a pity to miss it.
When I was there I notice that several statues of Buddha had been restored as you will see (hopefully) in my attached photos.
One last thing, as always, I would strongly recommend you to buy the combo circuit ticket, not only for the saved cost of the tickets but mainly for the time saved skipping the lines.
