Cliffe Castle Museum & Park的点评
点评：This entirely free museum was a real treasure to find. The surrounding grounds are pristine and well maintained with several fountains spouting to add to the beauty. You'd never guess this was on the edge of a busy city.
The museum itself was designed to be free for people to visit. It holds numerous rooms filled with various items covering all sorts of subject matter. There are rooms that are made up as they would have been in the time of the castle being a residence. An amazing stained glass window stands above the staircase.
This is a self guided museum but there are placards and notebooks with information pertaining to the numbered items in the various collections.
We could have spent many more hours there had we the time. Definitely worth checking out.
Parking is in a dedicated lot in the back and is also free.
There is a tea room that serves hot and cold food on the property as well.
