Rude, patronising staff.
Fynn Valley Golf Club的点评
点评：Played here today with three mates. Two are fairly new to golf, so we picked this course for an affordable 18 holes.
We were aware we were playing a bit slowly and offered to let the group behind us (two ladies) play through on the 4th. They kindly declined, said they were happy with the pace, and mentioned they might ask to play through on the 7th if it became an issue. No problem at all — good, normal golf etiquette on both sides.
On the 5th, a staff member watched us tee off from a buggy and, the moment we’d all hit, started having a go at us. She claimed she’d had multiple complaints about our pace, said it was obvious we were all beginners (I play off 12), and suggested we shouldn’t be playing 18 holes because “some members pay £1,200 a year” — ironic, given the state of the course. She criticised my friend’s swing (he’s only played a handful of times), was rude to all of us, and asked us to skip three holes and effectively leave — despite us having paid for the full 18 and already teed off on one of them (I had a tap-in for birdie waiting). She threatened to bring the Marshall over to remove us.
Her attitude was genuinely shocking and put a dampener on the round for all four of us. I believe her name was Julie or Judie, and I understand she’s normally on reception — not sure why she was patrolling the course today.
To the club’s credit, the Marshall who came over was completely different: friendly, reasonable, said he’d already had complaints about her, and just asked us to pick up the pace if we saw someone waiting. That’s all that needed to be said, and we were happy to do it.

她的态度实在令人震惊，也让我们四个人这一轮打球的心情都大打折扣。我记得她叫朱莉或朱迪，平时应该是在前台工作——不清楚今天为何会在球场上巡视。
不过，这家俱乐部还算值得称赞。后来来的那位管理员则完全不同：和蔼可亲且通情达理。他说自己已经收到了关于她的投诉，只是要求我们如果看到有人在等候，就加快处理速度。话就说到这儿，我们也很乐意照做。
