Getting to the main top viewpoints—like the famous Pravčická brána rock arch—requires quite a steady uphill hike. It will certainly test your legs, but the effort is rewarded with breathtaking, panoramic views across the sandstone rock formations and vast valleys.
While parts of the landscape still show traces of the severe forest fires that swept through the park in recent years, nature is bouncing back remarkably well. Thanks to extensive new planting and natural regeneration, lush green growth is rapidly filling in the landscape. Seeing vibrant young trees and flora thriving against the dramatic rock backdrop makes the hike feel all the more inspiring. It is well worth the climb for anyone visiting the Czech Republic.
