An Alaska Legend Who Knows How to Captivate a Room — or a Lakeshore!

点评：There are certain people who don't simply show up as part of an experience—they become one of the things people remember most about it. Martin Buser is absolutely one of those people.
We recently had the pleasure of having Martin join our Microsoft group for a very special day at Eklutna Lake, and once again, he reminded me exactly why he is such an incredible ambassador for Alaska.
Martin has an extraordinary ability to take his experiences from a lifetime of mushing and turn them into stories about leadership, teamwork, perseverance, trust, and adapting when things don't necessarily go according to plan. For a corporate group spending the week focused on many of those same themes, it couldn't have been a more perfect fit.
But what makes Martin so special is the way he delivers it. He's genuine, funny, engaging, incredibly approachable, and has that wonderful ability to read his audience and connect with people rather than simply speak to them. There is nothing canned about the experience—it feels personal, authentic, and very Alaska.
And then, of course, there were the puppies! I'm fairly certain Martin could have stopped talking altogether at that point and still had a very happy group. :)
The response from our Microsoft guests was wonderful, and seeing everyone gathered around Martin, asking questions, laughing, listening to his stories, and absolutely melting over those puppies was one of my favorite parts of an already incredible day.
Martin, thank you for once again sharing not only your stories and experiences, but your heart, humor, and love of Alaska with our guests. Thank you for understanding what we were trying to create and for helping us turn a beautiful day at Eklutna Lake into something much more meaningful.
There are plenty of ways to see Alaska. Experiences like this are what allow our guests to actually feel Alaska.
And that is something they will take home with them long after the trip is over. ❤️
