贡多拉峰第二峰的点评
点评：I highly recommend taking the gondola to the Whistler Peak only when the weather is clear, as the tickets are quite expensive. At the beginning of June, only the Whistler Village Gondola was fully operational, while the Peak 2 Peak Gondola ran only on weekends. Before purchasing, always check the live webcams to ensure the visibility is worth the trip for those stunning views. The Whistler Visitor Centre can provide updates on current conditions; you can also buy tickets there or directly at the gondola station. The gondola starts running at 10:00 AM and takes about 30 minutes to reach the top. The scenic journey itself offers beautiful views of the Whistler area, including Lost Lake, and if you are lucky, you might spot some bears.
Unfortunately, during my visit, the peak was bathing in clouds until my final day on Monday which was exactly when the Peak 2 Peak Gondola wasn't running. Note that during high season the gondola runs every day. Even though snow still covered the summit, limiting us to just one route, the Pika's Traverse trail through impressive snow walls it was still well worth the 85 CAD (+tax) The High Note Trail remained closed. also due to some trail work. The views from the top were absolutely breathtaking. Pika's trail is very easy and not physically demanding. Naturally, visiting later in the summer opens up many more trekking options, including the Cloudraker Skybridge. Conveniently, right next to the upper gondola station, you will find a restaurant, a souvenir shop, and restrooms.
