点评:I initially felt a bit underwhelmed, and the lack of phone signal was a surprise (I couldn't access my online tickets!) but we spent a whole day there and could have stayed more. I was also concerned my 8yo would found this was targeting a younger public but he loved it.
Lots going on through the day. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff ran the activities until everyone had a go. Tractor rides and barrel bug rides went around 2-3 times even if there would have been other sessions later so every kid had a go without too much wait. It was rather busy (not crowded) on a bank holiday and felt just right.
Experience with very young staff can be hit and miss but everyone we met was very kind and helpful. Kids had questions about animals that were all answered.
We did have a poor experience at the cafe where we had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. Food was coming out regularly, then slowed down to a single plate every 2-3 min, we asked if there was an issue (which we could have totally understood) and they said there wasn't but also offered us free drinks, and offered us again later as we declined at first, which was a nice touch. Food then started churning out again so I'm guessing something did go wrong but customer experience is all about what you do when stuff happens and they did the right thing.
