点评:We came here as a family field trip. They have a lot of history and artifacts to look at. While it is a small museum, it is well done with the amount of information they tell you about the area. We also saw the mound and read the plaques about the mound and the removal of native Americans. There is also a lake where you can rent for like $5 a canoe or a paddle boat. They also have fishing, I’m not sure how that works. The kiddos enjoyed looking at all the things and one of their favorites was the ducks that found us. I like that the info is to the point so it’s easy for kiddos to follow along. There is a gift shop there with things like rocks, arrow heads, plushies, knickknacks and books. We ended up getting a glass bird whistle that when water is added made this bird whistle sound. That was super cool! Did I mention admission is FREE?! There is a place for donations if you want!
