点评:Have taken my daughter to a few of the Gullivers Parks. Although this is the prettiest, it’s the hardest to get around. By the end of the day my legs were aching - walking downhill is almost as bad as walking uphill as the angles are so steep. I’m glad I wasn’t the one driving, too, as parking is a scary ordeal - a tight, winding uphill trail.
Putting my own complaints aside, my daughter absolutely loves the park. The queues are minimal so it makes for a better day than the bigger places like Legoland where she gets bored waiting around. There are little play areas dotted around, and although the food isn’t great, she was happy enough with a hot dog and some fresh donuts.
We’ve previously stayed over in one of the beach themed rooms which was cheap and cheerful. The entertainment was great for kids, although breakfast the next day wasn’t great.
Although it feels a bit dated, the park still has a lot to offer and there is a good variety of rides. The staff are always friendly and they were running a princess and pirates day last time, so there was extra fun collecting gems during the day. The price is very reasonable and we’ll definitely go back to Gullivers in future - although I might choose the Rotherham or Milton Keynes one for the sake of my legs!
