Hasn’t changed much in 30 years but still a great day out!

点评：I used to go here a lot when I was younger (30 years ago 🙃) and today we took our three-year-old for the first time. Here are my thoughts:
Positives!
- The staff are all very friendly! Every staff member we encountered was smiley and willing to help. Definitely made our visit feel more personable.
- Parking - I was concerned we wouldn’t get a parking spot as I’d read on here that spaces were limited. We got there at 11.30, an hour after opening, and we easily got a space.
- Plenty of rides for our three-year-old!
- No queues! We barely queued all day and were able to go on some rides 2 or 3 times in a row because our son loved them so much.
- Price was decent - we paid £14 each as part of the food bank weekend, to get this price we needed to bring some food for Trussell Trust. Such a good idea. The gift shop was also far more reasonably priced than say the gift shops at Alton Towers.
The not-so-positives:
- The toilets at the entrance were unclean and the flush didn’t work so that was grim.
- It is a little outdated and I feel it hasn’t changed much since I was last there 25 years ago.
- It’s steep! So be prepared for that if you have a buggy.
- There were a few people smoking in areas which said no smoking. Not the park’s fault obviously but it did seem to happen a lot.
All in all, our son had a great day and that’s the main thing 🙂 We’ll go back again one day!

- 有几个人在禁止吸烟的地方吸烟。这当然不是公园的错，但这种情况似乎经常发生。
