Great place for a family day out, even on a wet day.

点评：We went for a visit on Monday, our first since about 3 years ago. It was fairly quiet as not all the councils are on half-term. We chose to go specifically because of the "pay-what-you-feel" system as we couldn't manage an expensive day out at the moment. (I was also grateful for the kind staff member at the front desk who didn't make me feel embarrassed that I was only paying a small amount). It was a great, full day out, despite the dreich weather. We loved the bird show and really enjoyed getting to see the Seriema and the Luggar Falcon out and about. We fed the deer and really enjoyed the treetop walkway which my kids did several times. The bears were inside when we first went past, but we decided to try again later and they were out and about. We watched them playing for about 30mins. They were climbing trees and playing on rocks and big logs and running around.
The rain became a bit harder around 2pm and we were able to escape into the barn where the kids played until the rain stopped and we could head out again. Having an indoor space is so helpful.
We will definitely be back again.

下午两点左右雨势渐大，我们赶紧躲进谷仓，孩子们在那里玩耍，直到雨停我们才得以再次出发。有个室内空间真是太方便了。
