点评:We enjoyed our recent, rainy day visit. We were prepared for it to be busy and packed with school groups, but it was surprisingly quiet.
The footprint of the building is well spread out with space between galleries, a cafe and gift shop. Even on a busy day, it seems like there is enough room to spread out and orient different groups.
Looks like exciting plans are in the works for a new science building, member programs like yoga and utilizing the outdoor area under “the claw.”
The experience is priced right for an AZA accredited facility that prioritizes animal care.
We enjoyed all of the exhibits (especially the penguins) and learned a few things about wildlife native to Utah.
Admissions staff were friendly and efficient with check in. Only giving 4 stars because after check in, no other staff member or volunteer that we passed engaged or acknowledged us- even at the touch tank.
