Beautiful, but Rocky Beach

点评：We stayed at the adjacent Marriott, so this is our closest beach. This part of the island has very sharp beach, sand, and lots of lava rocks, where your shoes I cut my toe and my hand. A snorkel right offshore once you get in the water it’s a lovely temperature not too much current. The waves are nonexistent. It’s very well protected. I did see a lot of fish and some sea turtles, but it is a bit murky, depending on the wave of action. Swimming further out the water gets clear there were lots of small fish to see. There was a little bit of coral. I did not see anything colorful other than the fish. Lots of volcanic rock on the bottom with sea plants growing on it that’s what the sea turtles come in for. If you’re at the Marriott, it’s super convenient because you also have access to the swimming pool and beach chairs.
