点评：You have to pay for entrance to the Christmas market, and then go to the ticket office to purchase a tour for another fee. The tour is entirely in German. The only English spoken by the tour guide was for her to emphatically tell me “no pictures allowed.” I was the only person on the tour that needed an audio guide, and she simply handed it to me with no explanation on how to use it or when to start it. She just went off speaking in German, and I followed the group. By the third room, I figured it out myself. But the audio guide was definitely shorter than what she was saying and a lot of time was spent waiting around for her to finish what she was saying so we could move to the next room. Also, the guide talked about rooms that we just walked through and did not stop. Add to that, for an evening tour, it was very poorly lit, and the rooms were dark. It was difficult to see paintings and furnishings that were in the darker parts of the room. Also, the fact that she was speaking German nonstop, made it difficult to concentrate on what the audio guide was saying.
That said, this is one of the best Christmas markets I’ve been to. Knowing what I now know, I would just skip the tour and go to the market.
