Kilolani Spa at Grand Wailea的点评
点评：I enjoyed the Grand Wailea spa ten years ago for a destination wedding/honeymoon. At the time, it was an extraordinarily unique spa with personal touches and an experience unlike any other. That’s why I was so excited to return for a 10-year anniversary trip. Unfortunately, everything that once made this a magical and truly one-of-a-kind spa has been stripped down to bland corporate drab. The thermal suites are, frankly, crap compared to what they used to be. I hate to be so blunt but they have stations you’d see in any gym (including an infrared spa that you can’t even use without paying extra. give me a break, most gyms have these). They got rid of the unique plunge pools with different botanicals. They’ve also made it co-ed which is awkward. Attendants are constantly hovering and carrying on extremely loud conversations (ask me about the rodent control methods the male attendant has been trialing at home, I heard an extensive diatribe). My massage itself was fine (not phenomenal as expected based on prior experiences and the price point) but others in my party complained that their massage therapists insisted on carrying on lengthy conversations during the massage which distracted from their ability to relax.
If you’re booking this spa based on prior experiences, I’d encourage you to either look elsewhere or seriously adjust your expectations. They’ve stripped it down to bare bones.

翻译：十年前，我曾去威雷亚大酒店 (Grand Wailea) 的水疗中心参加婚礼/蜜月旅行，当时的体验非常棒。那时，它是一家极其独特的水疗中心，处处体现着个性化的服务，给我留下了独一无二的印象。所以，我非常兴奋地再次回到这里，庆祝结婚十周年。可惜的是，曾经让这里充满魔力、独一无二的所有元素，如今都已荡然无存，变成了平庸乏味的商业化水疗中心。坦白说，现在的温泉套房跟以前比起来简直糟糕透了。我不想这么直白，但那里的设施跟任何健身房都一样（包括一个红外线水疗池，而且还得额外付费才能使用。拜托，大多数健身房都有这种设施）。他们取消了那些带有不同植物成分的特色冷水池。而且现在男女混浴，感觉很尴尬。服务员总是围着客人转来转去，大声喧哗（你可以问问我那位男服务员在家尝试的灭鼠方法，我听到他滔滔不绝地讲了一大堆）。我的按摩本身还可以（虽然没有达到我根据以往经验和价格预期的惊艳程度），但我同行的其他人抱怨说，他们的按摩师在按摩过程中不停地聊天，影响了他们的放松。
如果你是根据以往的体验预订这家水疗中心，我建议你另寻他处，或者认真降低你的期望值。他们已经把服务简化到极致了。
