点评:This is a nice beach if you can manage to find the unmarked turn off on the main highway and drive about a mile or two down a Sandy rutted road to the end. Park your car and walk about another quarter mile follow the sound of the waves. When you get there you’ll know it. It’s a very long stretch of pristine Beach with a small freshwater stream, Feeding into it.
There is a nice palm forest shading the pathway. Although they say it is a safe swimming beach, the waves are large and powerful and so is the undertow. This is not a kid beach, if you manage to get past the surf break it’s calmer and of course a lot deeper , so this is really a place for only the best , most confident swimmers.
We were there from one to 3:30 PM and the waves were steady and constant. It was also low tide with incoming direction. Could have been better at 10 am but I can’t say.
And lastly, those damn horses, they are aggressive. If you’re stuff is not attended, they’ve learned to stick their noses into coolers and bags seeking food , you can shoo them off, but do not get close to them as they have been known to kick violently. .
