Beautiful beach, we had a lovely time here.
Elafonissi Beach的点评
点评：Visited with my 2 children, age 15 and 7 year old and we had a lovely time. This beach is absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed relaxing in the water and looking for fish and sea life around the rocks.
Things that may be helpful - there are toilets just before the entrance to the beach and these were 1 euro to use. There isn’t much shade so take a sun umbrella or beach tent, but be careful as it can get quite windy and I actually witnessed a sun umbrella flying across the beach and hitting several people in its path whilst I was there!
There is a cafe and shop located near the car park where you can buy hot/cold food and drinks. The little shop also sells beach items, including umbrellas so don’t worry if you forget something. The shop also sell sun creams, towels, and many other items. I purchased a bottle of sprite, a cappuccino and a Cornetto and it cost me around £8 euro which I didn’t think was bad. I didn’t use the cafe as it was too expensive.
There are also several little huts scattered around the main beach area for getting changed, I also saw a larger disabled hut near the entrance.
Another important thing to mention is the path that leads from the car park down to the beach. This is a gravel bath and a slight hill so going down isn’t bad, but coming back up in the mid day sun was quite challenging as there isn’t much shade. It takes about 5-10 mins to get down to the beach and anyone with mobility issues would more than likely struggle, so please keep this in mind when planning your trip here.
All in all I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Crete and I do hope to come back with my family in the future.

总而言之，如果你在克里特岛，我强烈推荐你来这里参观，我也希望将来能和家人一起来。
