点评：The Bean Blossom Covered Bridge in Nashville, Indiana is one of the state's most loved, painted and photographed structures of its kind, regularly featured in paintings, magazines and periodicals throughout the country due to its idyllic appearance. Located at 4619 Covered Bridge Road, near the tiny town of Beam Blossom, in a deep valley in scenic Brown County, this very rare type Howe truss bridge was built in 1880 and is the oldest covered bridge in Indiana, the only single-lane covered bridge in Indiana in its original location and one of only three of its type in existence. Now used for pedestrian traffic only, the red-painted structure spans Bean Blossom Creek. It used to be the main road from Bean Blossom to Nashville, until Indiana State Road 135 came along and bypassed it in 1936. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 10, 2022.
