点评：⚠️ WARNING TO ALL TOURISTS: Active Currency Sleight-of-Hand Scammers on Ground Floor
Please be extremely vigilant while visiting ICONSIAM. On September 24 at around 18:30 on the Ground Floor near the restrooms, my companion and I were targeted by an organized duo (a man in his 40s and a woman in her late 20s). They strike up friendly conversation claiming to be recent arrivals from America asking for directions, then pull out foreign notes asking what Indian or Asian currency looks like.
While one person actively distracts you with conversation, the other handles your wallet/purse under the guise of "curiosity" or "taking photos of foreign notes," deftly stealing large bills (they managed to steal 60,000 JPY via sleight of hand before returning the wallet).
To other visitors: NEVER take out your wallet, show cash, or hand your purse to strangers inside the mall, no matter how polite or well-dressed they seem.
To ICONSIAM Management: Please increase security surveillance and review CCTV footage near the Ground Floor restroom area—organized thieves should not be allowed to prey on your customers.
