An amazing personal insight into the Sami culture and traditions of Reindeer herding. 💙💙💙

点评：Words will struggle to convey the sheer joy and magic of a morning spent with Ann and her reindeer herd. Beginning with this being a genuine personal tour - you are the only group for the duration -, whilst expensive, it’s worth every single penny, cent or euro.
From the magical snow covered approach down to the frozen lake, the opportunity to meet some reindeer in the ‘hospital’ wing and feed them their natural diet, to being able to wander the forest surrounded by these majestic animals.
After meeting the main attraction we were then provided some traditional warm berry juice in the cozy craft cabin where Ann explained the principles of Sami culture and how her family herd Reindeer and the effort required to ensure their way of life. Both of our children were able to engage in the crafts and ask as many questions as they could think of in relation to Lapland, Sami culture, Reindeer, snow mobiles, artic living and how to hand make reindeer shoes!!
We then got to see some amazing antlers and take photos across the frozen lake with reindeers in the background. The entire setting is beautiful and tranquil - from the polar night twilight, to the blue tits and woodpeckers on the feeders dotted around the homestead.
This was genuinely the most magical of event, and will live long in our families memories.

之后，我们有幸欣赏到令人惊叹的鹿角，并在冰封的湖面上以驯鹿为背景拍照留念。整个景色美不胜收，宁静祥和——从极夜的暮光，到散落在农舍周围的喂食器上栖息的蓝山雀和啄木鸟，一切都那么美好。
这真是一次无比神奇的体验，将永远铭刻在我们全家人的记忆中。
