库库尔坎金字塔的点评
点评：I was disappointed by the whole Chichen-Itza archeological site. I am glad we saw it, but there were some elements I found strange and disappointing:
1. Unlike many other famous temples in the world, you are not allowed to go in or on the ruins. This makes the experience much less immersive and impressive than for example Ayuthaya in Thailand, Luxor temple, the Akropolis in Greece, and so on.
2. There are vendors all over the archeological site, in between all the temples. This is weird and annoying. They should be at the entrance or exit, like any other major temple complex in the world.
3. You can't enter any building, so you can't see any of the relief sculptures up close.
Beware of scams and only buy your tickets a the official ticket boots at the entrance. We had some people trying to scam us.
So I am happy we visited, but it was underwhelming, to say the least.
