Fantastic tour with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic host

点评：I was given the tour as a Christmas gift and was excited to visit a local distillery. I tried to book online but had trouble with the website, however I emailed and was able to book that way.
We were greeted in the shop, which stocks all the whiskey, gin and rum(yes rum) which I knew we'd visit at the end.
The tasting room's focal point was the log burner, a beautiful touch.
The tour began in the distillery and Dave shared his wealth of knowledge and experience whilst explaining the processes for all 3 spirits. Next into the warehouse and the explanation of barrels and flavouring was brilliant too.
My favourite part was trying the Shining Cliff gin, both neat and with tonic. The exploration of botanicals chosen was insightful. We then tried the rum, paired excellently with ginger ale and then the Wireworks signature whiskey.
A lovely experience and I'd definitely recommend.
Of course, we stopped in the shop. I treated us to their Spiced gin. Citrus gin also available. 😉

这是一次非常棒的体验，我强烈推荐。
当然，我们最后还是去了商店。我请我们喝了他们家的香料金酒。他们家也有柑橘金酒。😉
