圣赫瓦西奥遗迹的点评
点评：Had arrived on a British Cruise Liner and couldn’t get on a tour to the mainland to visit Chichen Itza (at this point, after four attempts, that should be the correct spelling, after autocorrect kept ‘correcting’ to ‘Chicken Pizza’). So, I decided to take a Taxi, from Puerta Maya, solo, to visit these Mayan Ruins.
Driving time was around 25-30 minutes and was absolutely worth it. The Ruins were fascinating, and fantastic to behold. There was also much wildlife ranging from beautiful butterflies, lizards, iguanas and birds.
I did have a deeply unpleasant encounter with three of the most vile, wretched, repellant creatures known to man! No, no, not Chelsea FC supporters, and no, no, not Marxists….or even Marxist Chelsea supporters, but tarantulas - lurking on a tree. Sadly, no flamethrower was available, so I base them a swift ‘farewell.’
The Ruins are a delight to behold. One feels the sense of the incredible history, here. On various paths around this site, one can also feel the utter serenity. I was genuinely impressed and thoroughly enjoyed this cracking visit.

这些遗址令人叹为观止。在这里，你能真切感受到那段不可思议的历史。漫步在遗址周围的小径上，你也能感受到那份宁静祥和。这次精彩的参观让我印象深刻，也让我非常享受。
