A wonderful surprise
Twin Creeks Distillery的点评
点评：I was not expecting much when we pulled into this little distillery. What we got was an experience to remember! We had a blast.
We had come to try the whiskey (unfortunately out of stock because it is a very small run), but Anna served us some fantastic cocktails and taught us a huge amount about moonshine. We tried the straight moonshine/brandy flight and one of the cocktail flights. I could not taste the difference between the brandies, but the corn and sugar moonshine were tasty. The cocktail flight is the way to go. I told Anna to give me her favorites and they were all great. She even taught us how to make a Franklin County Flu Shot and introduced us to Dave's Coffee. I am now determined to figure out what Dave does to make such an incredible brew.
Anna's father and one of the other bartenders joined us and everyone was friendly and happy to share their thoughts and stories. My wife who is not a big drinker even took part. I learned that Franklin County, VA is the moonshine capital and Twin Creeks is the best place to start your moonshine education.
