点评：We visited as an organised trip on a very hot day in June. We had a very informative and interesting tour of both the architectural features on the exterior of the castle and through the interior from chapel to cellars led by Richard our guide who also doubled up as barista and lunch server. We had also organised lunch which was all home made in house by Alison and was absolutely delicious and incredible value for money.
Their castle is obviously a passion project for them and understandably so, there is something both majestic and homely to it. Richard and Alison couldn’t do enough for us and it was hugely appreciated although I got the feeling that is just how they always are. Whether you visit as part of a private tour, as we did, on one of their organised public tours or even just to one of their large craft fairs you will want to visit again.
