Friendly, excellent conversation and grammar instruction with a native speaker with lots of local history, culture

点评：My wife and I recently finished a month of immersion Spanish at the Habla Espana school here in town. I wanted to give a shout out to the school and its teachers, and in particular Martha. I had the perfect mix of conversation and grammar, and my learning was so much faster because it was all in context, including stories of San Miguel, discussions of politics, religion, current affairs.
I’ve been picking away at Spanish for many years with daily Duolingo, and periodic forays into other apps and programs including Baselang, Babbel, Langua, Lingoda, News in slow spanish, etc.
But three hours a day with a local, engaging, native speaker about subjects I cared about made all the difference.
If you’re coming from out of town, I think you would enjoy their home stay and dorm room options. We stayed at the school, and loved our room. It was huge, with a view of the garden, and full use of the rest of the house. We also enjoyed practicing Spanish with the other students staying there. By the end of our month we felt like part of the family.
