点评：Thanks to tips in a Facebook group, we found a great place by Akitha in the "Heaven Creat Sinharaja". And through him, we found Dilshan as our private driver and guide for our holidays. For six full days, he traveled with us and drove us between destinations, from the first pickup in Negombo via Habarana, Nuwara Eliya, and Ella to Ahanghama; everything felt smooth, organized, and stress-free. In Habarana, he helped us a lot with booking a safari, as well as attending a traditional cultural dance performance and a perfect diner by the lake. On the long trip we had a wonderful lunch at the Grand Hotel in Nuwara Eliya. We had a two-night stop in Ella, where we hiked Little Adam's Peak and visited the Nine Arches Bridge. Because he speaks the local language, he helped us buy train tickets and gave useful tips on how to secure good seats. He always made things easy for us.
After a few days in Ahanghama, he met us again for transport to the Sinharaja rainforest, Kirinda Beach (there we did a Yala National Park safari, and everything was perfectly arranged) and later on Hiriketiya.
One of his biggest strengths is how flexible and attentive he is. He stopped anytime we wanted and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The van was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with water and pillows available, which made long drives much more pleasant. Dilshan is reliable, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about his clients. As midlife travelers (> 60 years), we really appreciated how safe and well taken care of we felt throughout the whole trip. It was a great moment for us when he invited us to his home and met with his lovely mother! After more than 3 weeks travelling with Dilshan we really miss him.
We absolutely recommend him as a driver and tour guide to anyone visiting Sri Lanka!
