A mobile camping adventure

点评：My husband and I did the Northern Highlights 9 day safari in May (Maun to Kasane). Our very first safari was to Botswana in 2019 and we caught the bug. This was probably our last safari and we decided to return to Botswana and try a mobile camping safari. The experience was pretty much as we expected, and was a worthwhile adventure for us older folk.
We were 2 in a group of only 6 people
We were not able to visit Moremi unfortunately, due to the amount of rain received prior to our trip. We were redirected to an area near Moremi (can't recall the name). Then on to Mababe and Savuti.
Many good sightings with our guide Tumi. Some highlights: a leopard in a tree eating a warthog, with a lion on the grass below who was waiting for something to fall (he left without a thing); two cheetah moms with cubs; a small lion pride with cubs eating an eland; a large pack of wild dogs heading off on a hunt; numerous black-backed jackels; a group of hyenas with cubs.
Camp staff Scara, KG and India were super: great meals from the bush kitchen under Scara's supervision, wonderful service from superman KG and good support from India.
We really enjoyed the evening fires where we could sit, chat and view the stars.
We had a very good guide on the last day's boat tour on the Chobe River. Great spotting and information (I'm sorry that I cannot remember his name).
TIPS: Be prepared for a few long drives to transit between camp locations. Be aware that you will not have internet on the safari (noted in the FAQ). Budget for a few extra tips (mokoro guide, Chobe River guide).

营地工作人员 Scara、KG 和 India 都非常棒：在 Scara 的监督下，丛林厨房的饭菜美味可口；KG 服务周到热情；India 也给予了我们很多帮助。
我们非常享受夜晚的篝火，可以坐在那里聊天、欣赏星空。
最后一天，我们在乔贝河上乘船游览，遇到了一位非常棒的向导。他不仅能发现很多动物，还能提供丰富的知识（很遗憾我记不起他的名字了）。
温馨提示：做好长途跋涉的准备，因为营地之间需要换乘。请注意，游猎期间没有网络（常见问题解答中已注明）。建议预留一些额外的小费（例如独木舟向导、乔贝河向导）。
