Herts Young Mariners Base的点评
点评：Fantastic place with lovely friendly staff but the lake is just stunning and natural. So lovely to swim in natural water with nature all around. There is a lovely grassy area where you can sunbathe, picnic, read etc which felt so relaxing I had to move myself before falling asleep. You must bring a bright swim cap or you can buy one there, they will also let you borrow a float both of which are compulsory for safety. I personally think it is a bit over cautious and might be used for kids, the elderly, weak swimmers but it might be an insurance issue and in any case is a small gripe as it did not impinge on enjoyment. Did I say the staff were lovely because they are, friendly and very helpful.
Really wonderful place. Oh the only other thing I would say is it could be signed a little better I.e. swimming lake because I did not know the swimming lake was in the Young Mariners Centre but I expect this is me being a bit thick and prone to getting lost rather than any issue of the centre’s.
