Powerful experience at a true World Wonder
Victoria Falls Guided Tours的点评
点评：This world wonder deserves the title. Photos simply cannot do justice to the shocking power of this spectacle in full flow, like it was in July 2025. Do not take lightly the warning that it permanently rains at the Falls, and if any breeze blows your way it will feel like a wave breaking over you, not mere rain. We walked from the Livingstone statue toward Danger point but eventually gave up, it is too much to take in for one day, and we were wet but awe-struck even underneath our rain-coats. Sometimes the thunder of the Falls is deafening, and frightening to think that you are not even really close to the water.
I would not take small kids, the fencing is inadequate for such a powerful place.
The amenities are fine, and one is grateful that in a rather chaotic town, the hefty entrance fee seems to be used to keep the rainforest area secure and reasonably clean. Do not miss the Rainforest Cafe, an oasis for tired wet revelers, with a stunning art exhibition attached to the cafe.
Our hotel had a free bus to the Falls four times per day, which saves you from the rather chaotic town around it, and we were grateful to catch the bus back and go process the stunning experience in a comfortable setting.
Yes, I would do this again.
The shiny international airport at Victoria Falls made the trip easy but I would not advise eating at the airport. Eat at restaurants with good ratings like the Rainforest Cafe, or at the great Elephant Walk shopping mall or at a good hotel.
Finally, for adrenaline fanatics, there are over 40 special activities at this venue, easily arranged at the hotel or the Shearwater office, as long as you have US dollars!
