点评:I have always wanted to visit the sanctuary and finally made it to specially see famous Long'uro! It was an emotional trip for me and a surprise trip for my sister and our daughters. When we arrived we were greeted by baby giraffes and zebra. It was feeding time and got to feed the baby giraffes. Then came the baby elephants trumpeting and running for their milk bottles. It was such a joy to watch them enjoy their feed while the keepers sang songs for them. Really touches the heart! We were then taken on an educational tour which explains hands on display and photos of the work they do. It was amazing to see how they track the older orphans which have been released back into the wild starting from where they were found, to how far their journeys have taken them. It's really inspiring to see how they involve the local Samburu women in providing goat milk for the orphans. This is true community & conservation work!
On the way there we stopped to take in the breathtaking views of the Mathews Range, the Sacred Mount Ololokwe and Elephant Rock. It's a very remote, harsh and dry terrain to get to Reteti, but it's worth the adventure!

途中我们停下来欣赏了马修斯山脉、圣山奥洛洛克韦和象岩令人叹为观止的景色。前往雷蒂蒂的路途非常偏远、崎岖干燥,但这段冒险之旅绝对值得!
