First-Class Tour; Very Comfortable and Great for Families or Small Groups

点评：We took the 4-hour Tasermiut Fjord boat tour with a group of 7 family members (ranging from 2 to 82 in age). We opted for the covered/heated boat vs RIB boat and were not disappointed! The dock is a short walk (~10 min) from the cruise ship water shuttle pier, and we were immediately greeted by our guide and captain (2 person crew). The boat was practically brand-new, very clean and comfortable! Unfortunatley for us it was a very foggy morning so we missed a lot of scenery, but our crew still made the best of everything, including providing light refreshments when we got to the top of the fjord, letting us disembark to hike up to the glacier (only for the sure-footed!), and even making a few short detours on our way back to the ship to get up close & personal with several massive icebergs and also see a small, remote village flanked by the fjord and jagged, snowcapped mountains (once the fog cleared). Truly an unforgettable tour! Crew spoke perfect english and were extremely polite, answering any questions we had.
Two recommendations: If possible, take the afternoon tour vs the morning tour as you'll have a better chance of not dealing with fog (very typical in the area in the morning hours). Also, we got a much better deal booking directly through the Tasermiut Camp website vs anything through the cruise line's shore excursions program (literally talking about a 50% price difference). We also got priority treatment, walking past dozens of folks lined up for the cruise shore excursion trip since we booked directly with the tour company.
All in all, a great experience that I highly recommend! Great for couples, small groups, and families who want to be a little adventurous without getting too cold or wet!
