点评：Our time with Stavros, owner and guide of Explore the Real Crete, was one of the highlights of our entire trip. His knowledge of Crete is remarkable, but what makes the experience exceptional is the genuine passion he has for his country, its history, its people, and its culture.
Stavros doesn’t simply drive you from one beautiful place to another—he helps you understand and feel Crete. He shared fascinating history, local insight, wonderful advice, and stories that gave us a much deeper appreciation for everything we were seeing.
And he is incredibly funny! We laughed throughout our days together. He is warm, caring, thoughtful, and has a wonderful way of making you feel less like a tourist on a tour and more like you’re exploring Crete with a knowledgeable local friend.
There are plenty of ways to visit Crete, but there is something very special about being shown a place by someone who genuinely loves it.
