Concession Prices brought this beautiful venue from a 5 star to a 3!
花旗球场的点评
点评：I attended the Athletics vs Mets at Citi Field. The stadium and grounds are beautiful and well kept. We sat upper deck in section 513 and the seats had a perfect view of the all the action. Concessions and restrooms were plentiful. Parking with a "green" parking pass was easy in and out. I enjoyed the stadium, the grounds, and watching all the activities that there were for kids...meeting Mr and Mrs Mets, a wiffle ball home run derby, etc.
My complaint comes with concession prices. They were just not reasonable at all. I was buying for me alone. 2..yes 2 chicken tenders cost $18 dollars. Literally two pieces of chicken. Two normal sized chicken tenders...9 dollars each. A 24 ounce beer was 18 dollars. I can buy a 12 pack of beer with the recycling deposit included for 18 dollars. I get there will always be an upcharge at sporting events, but this was a slaughtering. The concession prices are just outrageous and in my opinion impossible for a family to attend a ball game. Bluntly, eat before or sneak anything you can in to save the money.
