I purchased a Bronze Sled Dog Experience for my daughter’s birthday in September 2025. They insisted on payment by bank transfer, a red flag I regret ignoring, and I paid £200 for a date at the end of November. Communication was perfectly fine until they had my money. After that, nothing.
Their paperwork stated they would contact us a week before the experience. Five days before the date, with no update, I chased them. I eventually received a message from Kerri Hooner, claiming illness and postponing the experience; the night before it was due to take place.
Rebooking was another battle. I had to chase repeatedly before finally securing a February 2026 date. Once again, it was cancelled, this time two days before. Since then, I have contacted them multiple times and received no response at all.
On 29 April, I emailed Kerri requesting a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Again, no reply. I contacted my bank, who opened a fraud case against UK9. The bank refunded me £100, but the remaining £100 is lost. I was also advised to report them to “Report Fraud”, which I have done.
I was patient, polite, and sympathetic throughout, and they took advantage of that. This has caused huge disappointment for my daughter and a lot of time and effect chasing UK9 and finally reporting it to the bank and Report Fraud.
I cannot say this strongly enough: if you don’t want to lose money, do not book with these people.
