点评：My daughter and I are visiting VT on vacation with no plan except to find adventures. We drove past Equinox and since it was a perfect day we turned around to check it out. What a SCORE! The cost was $30 ($25 for car and driver and $5 each additional passenger). The guide at the entrance was wonderful and very informative. The ride up the mountain was steep in places and there were hairpin turns but for us that was part of the adventure and was well worth it when we got to the top. The view was magnificent in every direction and we could see for miles. There is a visitor center of sorts on top of the mountain with plenty of parking and there were very few people up on the mountain. Bathrooms were currently out of order but they had port-a-potties which were clean. Definitely go into the center and learn the history and then go to the second floor balconies and see the views from either side of the building. We will go back if we are ever up here in VT again but next time we will prepare a little better. Bring lawn chairs and lunch. Also it is considerably cooler on top of the mountain so bring a sweatshirt or jacket. There is also a 1 mile (round trip) hike at the top of the mountain to Lookout Rock. There is plenty of signage to guide you. Also on the way back down put your car in the lowest gear, and stop for a few minutes at each of the stops on the way down to let your brakes cool off.
