点评:We were walking from PETRONAS Towers around KLCC park and found the Aquarium. My son was very keen to have a look, and at RM80 (AUD30/USD20/Euro17) it wasn’t too bad.
Had to queue to purchase a ticket, can be done online, then queue to get in. A spiral of a few exhibits was quite interesting and saw numerous examples of aquatic and forest life- must admit I think spiders should be stepped on, but that me- can’t stand spiders- especially big ones.
Once initial exhibits were passed through the staff deliberately slowed you down to take a cheesy portrait of your group. There was NO bypassing the queue, although when it was our turn, and we said we didn’t want a picture, we just walked to the next queue. The queue to get into the actual aquarium was short, but then in the standard “tunnel” with fish above and a slowly moving path underneath you, you were stuck with screaming excited children. In the confined space it was very tiring, and I wish some of the entitled 1st born sons were a little more aware of personal space, and their volume (note I have 2 kids, and I tried to make them polite and aware of others) Finally out of the never ending noisy tunnel, you then get to the next section.
Next area has the tall tank with stairs around it, and then see the aquariums. Some spectacular fish, but here you then had insta “personalities” trying to make space so they could do their “shot” or “piece”. Almost as bad as the first horns, but at least they were aware of others- almost too aware as they kept waiting in the best spot to film their moment but didn’t want anyone else to be in their spot.
Oh well, was a nice aquarium, and maybe I just had the wrong crowd. If it wasn’t as crowded it would be pleasant, but it is what you would expect
