Uniquely 100-Proof Whiskey Experience with Awesome Staff!

点评：We arrived a little early because we were from out of town and had no idea what traffic was like and didn't want to be late. We were greeted by Whitney and sat at the bar while she prepped for the 1pm tour. She asked about out knowledge of BSC (Which was not much beyond website), she gave us some background and then offered us a few tasting of some of the many products that wouldn't be covered on the tour. When it came tour time I was excited, Whitney gather the group and shared the Welcome punch with us while she gave us a bit of a History lesson on Maryland Rye and on Baltimore Spirits Company.
Then off to the tour, where she talked to us about the entire process from the Mash composition, fermentation, Distilling, and aging in the barrels. Whitney was very knowledgeable on the process and answered a lot of questions; including some she said they don't very often. I have been on a lot of Distillery tours and this ranks among the top; but alas now it is time for the part I really came for,.
Blending your own whiskey out of 4 base spirits provided was a pretty cool experience. I went conservative on % numbers but it still took a while as I tried several variations, I used the ML measurements on the dropper to facilitate my blending %'s.
The overall experience was fantastic and I'd totally do another one just to try other custom blends. The only thing I would say they can do better on is to make sure that it is advertised that your Custom Bottle is not a typical 750ml bottle it's only a 375ml, still a heck of a deal for what you get.
