Truly Unforgettable Journey Through Sri Lanka

点评：Our trip to Sri Lanka in June 2026 was unforgettable, thanks entirely to our incredible guide Lasiru. From collecting us at the airport to settling us into our hotel, he made everything smooth, relaxed, and perfectly organised.
He took us to the lively Negombo Fish Market, arranged a traditional Ayurveda massage, and guided us through an amazing Minneriya Safari where we saw herds of elephants, including babies. We visited the iconic Sigiriya Rock, the beautiful Dambulla Rock Temple, and enjoyed a village experience preparing a traditional meal.
Lasiru showed us spice gardens, wood‑carving workshops, gem museums, and cultural dance performances. In Kandy, we explored sacred temples, cycled through Udawatta Kele, wandered the Royal Botanic Gardens, and visited the Commonwealth War Cemetery.
Tea country was a highlight — Ramboda Falls, a tea plantation, where i picked tea and visited Liptons Seat! A breathtaking train ride through the hills, all arranged by Lasiru. We also visited the Nine Arch Bridge, Ravana Falls, and experienced an unforgettable Yala Safari where we were lucky enough to see a leopard.
Our final day included the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, historic Galle, a turtle sanctuary, and a peaceful river safari. The highlight for my husband was feeding the greenback turtle in the sea and in the shallows baby black tip reef sharks
