Sri Lankan tour that ticks all the boxes

点评：We booked our Sri Lanka holiday through Secret Escapes which included a nine day island tour with an itinerary, hotels and then with final five days to chill at a beach hotel. HOT was our Sri Lankan tour operator.
Having never done this type of holiday experience before we had a degree of anxiety as to whether the holiday would deliver.
No need to have worried, HOT delivered from start to finish!
We were met at the airport by our guide Saman and driver Dunston. After a quick visit to a couple of local sights and a nights rest off we went.
Our itinerary included visits to temples (Hindu temple x2 as special request for my wife), tea plantations, tuk tuk rides, local cooking experience within a village setting,(fantastic lady who did some wonderful Sri Lankan food)water falls, massage, climb up Lions Rock to watch the sun rise, visit to Galle Fort, bike rides and boat trip.
Our guide Saman was great, knowledgeable and clear in his explanations. He was happy to tweak the itinerary to suit and include request as we went. We would have never gained the same experience on our own.
All our hotels, from city to tea plantation, were excellent. each had its own unique style and character. Absolutely no complaints.
The only itinerary disappointment was that we were unable to travel by train from Kandy to Hatton due to the train tracks being washed away by landslides early in the year.
Our highlights included Yala safari where we saw elephants and Leopards.
Our driver Dunston was a true professional, cool, careful and patient. Navigating Sri Lankan traffic is not for the faint hearted! We always felt safe with him at the wheel.
Overall a five star experience/holiday. Would highly recommend HOT.

我们的导游Saman非常棒，知识渊博，讲解清晰易懂。他很乐意根据我们的要求调整行程，并随时满足我们的要求。如果没有他的帮助，我们绝对无法获得如此丰富的体验。
从市区到茶园，我们入住的所有酒店都非常棒，各有特色，风格迥异。没有任何不满之处。
行程中唯一的遗憾是，由于年初山体滑坡冲毁了铁轨，我们无法乘坐火车从康提前往哈顿。
此行的亮点包括亚拉国家公园的野生动物园之旅，我们看到了大象和豹子。
我们的司机邓斯顿是一位真正的专业人士，冷静、谨慎且耐心。在斯里兰卡的交通状况下驾驶可不是件容易的事！有他在身边，我们始终感到安全。
总而言之，这是一次五星级的旅行体验。强烈推荐HOT旅行社。
