Crete Jeep Safari Adventure的点评
点评：We had the pleasure of going on the Crete Jeep Safari. Our driver Gary, aka ‘Gary the goat killer’ was absolutely brilliant. We had a ride up to a traditional village for coffee with a lovely setting. Laughs and jokes on the way courtesy of Gary. Then on rougher roads up to about 1000m for a view point learning about Vultures on the island as well as the local plants too.
The highest point at about 1300m for views that was fantastic. Back down to taverna where we ate and had a drink. The food and wine was very nice. Followed by raki.
Then the decent was on tarmac with a twisty road back down to Krista where we stopped for a look in the local shops and bought the exceptional authentic olive oil which was made by the shops family. We had some more local food and drink (raki) again then back to our hotel.
Our group who we named Jeep 3 had an amazing time and was talking about this trip all week. Our driver whose knowledge of the island and Cretes cultures was very well informed as well as his great humour to add. Thanks again Gary (the goat killer) 😂
