点评：Guerin’s Path is a must-see! Don’t be discouraged by inclement weather – my daughter and I visited on a rainy, blustery day but were still treated to several breathtaking glimpses of the Cliffs of Moher. Simply magnificent! We highly recommend this stop, County Clare’s best hidden treasure.
One can sense Mr. Guerin’s heart is deeply rooted here, hearing the pride in his voice as you listen to him share colorful stories of the lives of people and beasts alike that have (and continue to) roam this countryside. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the ordinary tour, this piece of heaven does not disappoint those who long for the peace and spirit of a long-ago way of life – or simply want a brief escape from a hectic life. Having grown up on a ranch/farm myself, I have a deep appreciation for Mr. Guerin’s dedication to preserving this wild and unspoiled land for future generations.
There is a bit of a hike to the cliffs for the best view, but you will be entertained by your guide with bits of history and accounts that have been passed along through the years, handed down through multiple generations of the Guerin Family. It is our hope that the trail will be completely reopened and shared in the near future so this generation can continue to educate visitors as to the necessity of preservation of these lands.
