We love The Cabana Beach

点评：Our 2nd year here and we will be back next year. We arrived on a cruise ship, but this is not a cruise-sponsored destination, to my knowledge. It’s a 10 minute taxi from the cruise terminal and way less than a similar cruise excursion. For example, a cabana at the cruise company’s private island runs around $6k. The Cabana Beach was 10% of that for a cabana package that included the shaded cabana, wifi, shower, lunch and massages. Drinks and tips were extra, of course. They have smaller cabanas and day beds for less, plus a bar and grill. Appear to be locally owned. We love it. It’s quiet, pretty and the water is cool. You can snorkel, if you want. The water IS deep, so there’s no wading area. If you jump in, you’d better know how to swim or wear a life jacket. Staff, including Dante, takes great care of you. Chakanaab Park is next door, but we saw no reason to wander over there, but some of you might like it. It appears popular. Anyhow, this is our favorite part of any cruise to the area.
