点评：A two hours delay entering the country due to automatic "Schengen" passport reader machines not recognising over 95% of UK passports!
Everyone upon arrival including the old and infirm left to queue for some at the back outside in the rain! To be fair immigration team were friendly and apologetic but you could tell that this is an ongoing problem.
On departure nearly two hours again delaying out flight by 1.5 hours messing up our ongoing arrival travel plans from Gatwick.
Very shameful letting down a poor but beautiful, unspoilt Italian region with so much dependency upon tourism and with so much more potential.
Would I go back to Calabria? Most certainly yes, but not until they knock this tired old airport down and rebuild it to bring entry, departure and terminal facilities into the 21st century!
