Looked forward to playing Costessy Park, sadly but overall somewhat disappointed

点评：It is some years since I’ve played the course, used to play annually with a golf society when it was a membership course.
My first reaction was that when we arrived and checked in, the on duty staff member did not make us feel welcomed it was as though they were having a bad day at the office.
Now to the course, the tees were dreadful, the fairways by and large were good, the greens were very good, the signage to the next hole was intermittent and not always clear on where the next tee is.
A lot of the bunkers had no rakes meaning it was a lottery as to whether your ball landed in a footprint or not and finally not one of the ball washers had any water in them !!
Overall honest review - from what I’ve gathered during my visit - a golf course in a picturesque setting, well laid out, well worth a visit but value for money for the green fees paid - expensive compared to other comparative courses in the area.
