Exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Western Mongolia—from the remote and majestic Altai Mountains to the pristine wilderness of Tavan Bogd National Park—was an experience beyond words. The highlight of the trip was safely reaching the summit of Malchin Peak (4,050m). Standing at the top surrounded by snow-capped peaks and endless mountain vistas was a dream come true, and we could not have achieved it without the incredible support of the Bek Travel team.
Our deepest gratitude goes to our outstanding guide, Baukha, whose extensive knowledge, calm leadership, and genuine care gave us confidence every step of the way. A heartfelt thank you also to our assistant guide, Imudar, for the constant encouragement, patience, and willingness to help whenever needed. Together, they created a safe, enjoyable, and inspiring trekking experience.
Special appreciation also goes to Chef Botha and the wonderful kitchen team, who somehow managed to prepare delicious, hearty meals even in the most remote mountain camps. Every meal was something to look forward to after a long day of hiking. We are equally grateful to the skilled Jabil & drivers, whose expertise on the rugged Mongolian terrain ensured we always travelled safely and comfortably.
